Loqqin keeps time against the clock instead of counting ticks, so the countdown stays right while you’re in another tab. When a block ends, you hear a chime and, if you allow it, get a notification.

No. Open Loqqin and start. Everything you make is saved in the browser you’re using.
Is Loqqin free?
Yes, for a limited time.
Where are my tasks and notes kept?
In your browser’s local storage, on your device. Loqqin has no server that keeps a copy, so a private window or cleared site data means starting fresh. Safari also clears a site’s data after a week without a visit, so add Loqqin to your Dock or Home Screen to keep it.
Does it sync between my laptop and phone?
No. Each browser keeps its own tasks, notes and history.
Will the timer drift in a background tab?
No. Browsers slow down timers in hidden tabs, so Loqqin works from timestamps instead of counting ticks, and the countdown in the tab title stays right. If nothing is playing, Chrome may hold the chime for up to a minute.
Will the timer stay right if I lock my phone?

Does it work offline?
Yes, once it has loaded. Do binaural beats help you focus?
There’s no good evidence that they do. In a 2023 study of 1,000 people, those who listened to binaural beats scored lower on a reasoning test. They’re in Loqqin for people who like the sound.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. On a phone the timer, tasks and notes become tabs, and the countdown stays visible in the tab bar.
